Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-06 · Beta
By using CardZero you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. Beta status
CardZero is in beta. Smart contracts are in production but a third-party audit is in progress. We recommend keeping balances under $100 USDC per wallet during this period.
2. What CardZero is
- An API + Dashboard wrapping a set of Ethereum smart contracts on Base mainnet.
- A standards implementation: ERC-4337 wallets, ERC-8004 identity + reputation, ERC-8183 job escrow, x402.
- Open source documentation and plugins at github.com/mrocker/CardZero.
3. What CardZero is NOT
- Not a custodian. You control your wallet via your account; we facilitate execution.
- Not a bank, not a money services business, not a securities exchange.
- Not a token launchpad. We don't and won't issue a token.
- Not legal or financial advice.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep your password and API keys secret.
- Set spending rules appropriate to your risk tolerance.
- Don't use CardZero for illegal payments — including but not limited to sanctioned parties, money laundering, or fraud.
- Don't spam or attack the API.
5. Fees
- Direct payments: 2% platform fee (deducted from sender wallet, recipient gets full amount).
- Job escrow: 2% platform fee + 5% evaluator fee on completion.
- 10% MAX_TOTAL_FEE_BP enforced at the contract level.
- Gas is covered by CardZero paymaster; no ETH needed in agent wallets.
6. No warranty
CardZero is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and secure but make no guarantees. Smart contract bugs, network outages, third-party RPC failures, paymaster exhaustion — any of these can interrupt service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardZero is not liable for direct or indirect losses.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk. Your on-chain wallet remains yours regardless; you can always interact with the contracts directly via Ethereum tooling.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Singapore law where applicable. Disputes will be handled in good faith via email first.
9. Changes
Material changes will be announced on cardzero.ai. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
